Troubleshoot WAN network on Mikrotik AP

How to solve Mikrotik AP when WAN is not working

If WAN is not working means unable to access internet then follow the below steps:

Method 1 :  Reset the device

      Soft Reset
  1. Login to your device using Winbox/Webfig
  2. Go to System > Reset Configuration


      Hard Reset
  1. Press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds and then release
  2. Factory reset will done
  3. Login with the default credentials

Method 2 : Update the Device

  1. If the device boots up, then update to latest version.
  2. Find the step to update the device : Ways to Update Mikrotik Devices (mbuzztech.com)
  3. Once update is done, now upgrade the firmware
  4. Go to the new Terminal and use below command
  5. Use command to update the firmware : "/system routerboard upgrade
  6. Then Reboot the device 
  7. Go to system > Reboot
