Silverstone Rackmount Workstation Assembly
Hardware installation
- Unboxing Rackmount Workstation
- Open the Cover by Removing screws
from both sides
- Remove Top Cover
- Loosen the HDD cage screws and remove the HDD cage.
- Loosen
the fan bracket screws and remove the fan bracket.
- Fix
the 80mm fan into the bracket and secure the Fan bracket to its original position
- Fix the motherboard mounting screws and I/O shield onto the chassis.
- The next step is to prepare the motherboard. Unbox
the motherboard.
- Insert the processor into the CPU socket
- Fix the CPU Cooler (apply heatsink grease on CPU
before fixing the CPU cooler).
- Install the Nvme SSD into the available M.2 slot
- Insert the memories in to the DIMM slots.
- Install the motherboard onto the workstation case
- Install the Redundant PSU into the case and secure it with the
screws
- Install the HDD into the hard disk cage, and
secure the HDD cage to its original position
- Connect the power and I/O cables to the motherboard and other components.
- Organize and manage the excess cable properly
- Fix the rack handles to the case.
- Close
the Top cover and secure with the screw
- Connect the power cables, turn on the workstation, and run the POST test.
- Pack the device after testing
