Supermicro Server AS- 4125GS-TNRT2 PCIE Expansion Card Installation

The AS-4125GS-TNRT2 is a 4U rackmount server designed for high-density GPU configurations, and PCIe expansion. Expansion slots are managed via dedicated riser cards.
AOM-PTG-I2T-P is the riser card using in Supermicro AS-4125GS-TNRT2 server.
AOM-PTG-I2T-P (Riser card) Installation
- Power down the system and open the chassis cover
- Remove the Add on cards and find the Slot A1 in the Mother board. Slot A1 is the slot for AOM-PTG-I2T-P riser card in the server As-4125GS-TNRT2.
- After Installation we can find the details of the riser card in Baseband management console .

AOM-PCIE5-418P-1-P PCIE Expansion card Installation.
- AS-4125GS-TNRT2 chassis supports up to 10 double-width GPUs, with up to 13 PCIe 5.0 x16 slots available depending on configuration.
- Supported PCIE cards
- GPUs- AMD MI210,NVIDIA H100 , H100NVL , L4 , L40 and others networking cards -AOC-957508-P2100G-WW001 NIC Cards and other AIOM/OCP 3.0 Expansion & RAID Controllers.

Installation Procedure :-
- Shut down the server and remove power cords.
- Remove the chassis cover. Do not power on server without its cover for airflow reasons.
- Locate and prepare the PCIe Expansion slot in MB.
- Install the Expansion card- Align the card's connector with the PCIe slot Gently insert the card into the slot until fully seated.
- Secure the card with screws.
- Connect Auxiliary power - For GPUs and other high power cards.
- Reinstall the chassis cover.
- Power Up the server to check the PCIe Expansion Card is recognized and performs as expected.
