A Toolbox
Talk (TBT) is a short safety briefing conducted at the Data Center project site
before the start of work activities. The purpose of the session is to create
awareness about site hazards, safety precautions, and risk mitigation measures
related to the tasks planned for the day.
In MBUZZ
Data Center Projects, the Quality Control (QC) Team is responsible for
organizing and conducting the Toolbox Talk to ensure that all personnel
understand the safety requirements and follow proper work practices.

Talks help to:
Improve safety awareness among workers
Identify potential hazards before work
begins
Ensure proper use of Personal Protective
Equipment (PPE)
Encourage communication and feedback
from the workforce
Prevent accidents and unsafe practices
at site
Toolbox
Talks must be conducted in the following situations:
Conducted at the start of each working
day.
The topic should be related to the planned
activities for the day.
Any new worker joining the site must
attend a TBT session before starting work.
Required before performing critical or
high-risk tasks such as electrical work, rack installation, lifting
operations, working at height, etc.

Conducting the safety briefing at site
Ensuring workers wear the required PPE
Recording attendance and training
details in the TBT Form
Step
1 – Preparation
Identify the planned activities for the
day.
Prepare the Toolbox Talk topic based on
those activities.
Document the hazards and preventive
measures in the TBT Form.
Step
2 – Assemble the Team
Gather all workers at the designated Assembly
Point.
Verify that all personnel are wearing
the required PPE, such as:
Safety helmet
Safety shoes
Gloves
Safety vest
Eye protection (if
required)
Step
3 – Conduct the Briefing
Explain the work activity for the day.
Highlight the possible hazards and risks.
Describe the control measures and safe
work practices.
Encourage an interactive discussion,
allowing workers to:
Share their
experiences
Raise safety concerns
Provide
recommendations
Step
4 – Record the Training
Record the names of all attendees.
Collect their signatures.
Verify and record the PPE availability
and compliance.
Maintain the completed record in the Toolbox
Talk Register / TBT Form.
Toolbox
Talk topics should be prepared based on the project scope and planned
activities.
The
QC Team should first identify all work activities involved in the Data Center
project, such as:
Rack Loading/Unloading
Rack installation
Equipment handling and lifting (Servers,
Switches, etc.)
Fiber installation and routing
Power connection and electrical work
For
each topic, the following details should be included

Maintain a safe working environment at
site
Reduce the probability of workplace

Improve worker awareness and
responsibility
Ensure compliance with project safety
