Warranty Verification
- Product model and serial number.
- Purchase invoice or proof of purchase.
- Warranty eligibility.
- Product condition and any signs of physical damage.
- Whether the issue is covered under the applicable warranty terms.
Basic Troubleshooting
- Reseat the memory module properly.
- Test the module in another compatible memory slot.
- Test one memory module at a time, if applicable.
- Check BIOS/system recognition.
- Test the memory on a compatible system, if available.
- Record the results of the troubleshooting.
RMA Process
- Verify the warranty and product details.
- Collect the required documents and evidence.
- Perform basic troubleshooting.
- Confirm the reported fault, where possible.
- Register/escalate the RMA claim with the authorized vendor or service channel.
- Provide the customer with the required packing and shipment instructions.
- Track the RMA until repair, replacement, or final resolution.
- Update the customer regarding the RMA status.
RMA Rejection Conditions
- The product is outside the applicable warranty period.
- The serial number is missing, altered, or cannot be verified.
- There is physical damage, burn damage, or improper handling.
- The product has been modified or tampered with.
- The reported issue cannot be reproduced and is determined to be No Problem Found (NPF).
- Required documents or information are not provided.
Packaging Guidelines
The memory module should be packed securely using suitable ESD protection and adequate protective packaging to prevent damage during transportation.
Important Notes
- Do not open or modify the memory module.
- Retain the original product and packaging details where applicable.
- Record all troubleshooting and communication in the RMA ticket.
- Final warranty approval is subject to the applicable TeamGroup/vendor warranty terms and inspection.
RMA Closure
After repair or replacement:
- Confirm delivery/receipt of the unit.
- Update the final RMA status.
- Record the replacement or repaired unit details, if applicable.
- Close the ticket after the case is successfully resolved.
