Prerequisites

  • BMC IP address reachable from the management network

  • Admin credentials

  • Primary and secondary NTP server IPs (configured on Head Node 1 and Head Node 2)

  1. Open a browser and navigate to the BMC IP address of the HGX server.

  2. Log in using administrator credentials.

Step 2: Navigate to Date & Time Settings

  1. From the left navigation pane, click Settings.

  2. Select Date & Time from the settings menu.

    2. Secondary NTP Server: IP address of Head Node 2

    3. Click Save.

Step 4: Post Configuration

  1. When prompted that the session will close, click OK to proceed.

  2. Close the browser session as instructed.

Step 5: Reconnect and Verify

  1. Reopen a new browser session.

  2. Log back in to the BMC.
