ASUS BMC—Static IP Network Setup
Connect Network Cable
Connect a network cable to the MGMT
(Management) port.
If the network has DHCP
enabled, the server will automatically obtain an IP address.
If DHCP is not enabled,
follow the manual configuration steps below.
Enter BIOS Setup
Reboot the server.
Press F2 or DEL
during POST to enter the BIOS setup.
Configure BMC IP Address
Navigate to:
Server Management → BMC Network Configuration
Go to DM-Lan → Static → set
the IP address
Set the required BMC IP
address, Subnet Mask, and Gateway.
Save Configuration
Press F10 to save the
changes.
Allow the server to restart.
Verify BMC IP
After reboot, check the POST
screen to confirm the BMC IP address is displayed.
Access BMC Web Interface
Open a web browser (preferably a
modern browser like Chrome or Edge).
Login Credentials
